2025 PostDoc in Philosophy of Science / Philosophy of Physics at Technical University Dresden

The position offers the chance to obtain further academic qualification (usually preparation of habilitation thesis). The position is part of the DFG project "Progress through Principles: An Epistemology of Foundational Assumptions Guiding Contemporary Physics" which examines the heuristic role of guiding principles in foundational physics. Tasks:

  • academic collaboration in the mentioned research project and writing academic publications on study findings
  • project coordination and support for project management
  • independent research in philosophy of science and philosophy of physics in the mentioned field of study

  • Excellent PhD in philosophy
