Engine Quality Management is responsible for the cross-departmental coordination of all quality-related activities between Development, Planning, Production, Suppliers, and Aftersales. The focus is on preventative quality work with the goal of ensuring the maturity level in a timely manner and safeguarding the series quality of all engines.
These are the challenges you will face:
As an intern with a focus on data science and Power BI, you will actively contribute to the digitalization and data-driven optimization of our quality processes.
- Data analysis & visualization
- Analysis of large amounts of quality data from production and development
- Development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to display quality metrics and error trends
- Automating reports and data pipelines with SQL, Power Query, DAX, and Python
- Project work & interface communication:
- Participation in cross-departmental projects for digital quality assurance
- Documentation and presentation of analysis results for various stakeholders (e.g. quality engineers)
- Participation in meetings with departments such as IT, production & quality
- Collaboration in the quality management team
- Support in ensuring cross-departmental quality-relevant requirements, as well as participation in interface-relevant tasks with the relevant departments such as planning, production, development, IT and purchased parts quality
- Participation in the implementation of series-accompanying quality assurance for the engine plants
The activity can begin from December 2025.

Requirements
- Degree program in (business) informatics, data science, statistics, mechanical engineering with a data focus or a comparable degree program
- Experience with Power BI (including DAX, Power Query) and ideally Python or Databricks
- Confident use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and SQL
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- Understanding of statistical methods and data modeling, analytical thinking skills and structured working methods
- Initiative, teamwork and communication skills
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration and digital solutions in quality management
