The aim of this project is to close this knowledge gap by systematically and comprehensively investigating gender-specific immune responses in these clinical contexts.
Your tasks:
- Processing of human sample material (blood and tissue)
- Generation of human and murine 3D organoid cultures
- Conducting animal experiments in mouse models for autoimmune liver diseases
- Data generation and analysis: FACS, ELISA, WB, IHC, single cell and single nucleus RNAseq, spatial transcriptomics
- Evaluation and compilation of the results and their presentation at departmental, national and international meetings
- Preparation of manuscripts

Requirements
- Completed university degree in biology, biotechnology or a comparable life science
- Immunological training and previous experience in bioinformatics analyses are desirable
- High level of commitment and enjoyment of teamwork and cooperation
