The European Neuroscience Institute Göttingen (ENI-G) is dedicated to the promotion of outstanding young researchers who are characterized by particular scientific excellence. A fully funded, up to four-year PhD position is available in the team of Dr. Petzold (“Brain-Body Interactions”) to investigate the role of subcortical circuits in innate behavior control in relation to peripheral bodily signals.

Requirements
- Master degree in neuroscience, biology, neuroinformatics or related field, and a strong interest in solving fundamental questions that link behavior, single cells and neural circuits.
