Requirements
- an above-average completed Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Biology, Earth System Sciences, Climate Sciences or a related field
- sound knowledge and/or practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Remote sensing and geospatial data analysis
- Plant ecophysiology
- Forest ecology or biogeochemistry
- very good English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to undertake regular business trips between the KIT Campus Alpin (IMKIFU) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the KIT Campus in Karlsruhe/Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen for C4LaNd courses
- strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration within an international graduate school
- Willingness to undertake a one-year research stay at the University of Melbourne (Australia)
